在一本资料上看到：head表示“人头”和“牛头”时，均为可数名词，但使用方法有所不同：表示“人头”时，其复数形式为heads；表示“牛头”时，其复数形式与单数形式相同。如：

回答：原则上是如此。譬如《英语语法札记》第I集（薄冰著）就有如下看法：……有的名词虽然能和基数词连用，但只限于10、百、千等整数。如大家可以说 twenty cattle, 或 five hundred cattle，或 three thousand cattle，但通常不说 two cattle 或 three cattle，应该说 two head of cattle 或 three head of cattle。
